From Dunmore Head at the tip of the Dingle Peninsula to the Strait of Istanbul, the Bosphorus.

Our itinerary

This is the route we have devised and mapped out according to our preferences and the constraints of the seasons. It brings together several major European long-distance walking routes, such as the E2 and the E8. We will also be following the Via Francisgena and the Via Egnatia. To link them all together, we have identified several local paths.

This is the itinerary we’ve planned today, before we set off. But it may well change as time goes on, as nothing is ever set in stone when travelling… The road always has surprises in store… So we’ll just have to see..
